APA breed days

Postby vahunter » Sun Mar 16, 2008 4:57 pm

Did anyone go to the breed days in SC? This was a first for me, and friends had told me about it but they changed it. Penned hog, tethered bear, and NO contact.

Hey chaser, from what I heard there won't be a live bear there. Check with someone in the know to be sure but that's what I heard. To much pressure from animal rughts people. Let me know what you find out. I may go too.

Jason, yes I met some nice people too. I just said I led to believe there would be one thing but there wasn't. Eric, I don't believe I said anything bad. I started the thread and I wanted to see who went and what they thought. It seems like you are digging on me for that. I went with friends who have been going for 20 or more years, who said this is their last trip if it is going to be like that again. I read a post where I think the NPHA is looking at other options, and possibilities to continue. That is probably where I would join......

I was there. We drove 17 hrs from Ontario Canada to go and was not disappointed. This was my first time. I will be putting this on my yearly calender. Met a lot of new friends. It was great meeting and talking to you and your wife Jason. Maybe we will get to hunt together sometime.
