Nabowhunter, I wish you luck. I reccomend Walk with Wick if you havn't read it yet. It doesn't have anything to do with chasing lions but has some really good tips on raising pups and and training.

I agree with Ike and the others as there has to be a higher sense of satisfaction if one takes a pup ...

Nabowhunter, DON"T START WITH PUPS!!! I tried to get into it with 1 pup and now all I have is 1 trashy hound that will chase cat but also everything else. Of course I live in the city and can't get out like I could if I was in the country, but I reccomend buying an older lion dog.

Hey Irv, long time no talk. Sounds like Mrs. Beasley's been doing good (20-30) bears. I hope everything goes well with her litter. Sorry to hear about Magnum, he was a FINE hound!
