i got a pair of dogo/fiest pups. so far they show to have good noses. that dad(fiest) is a top notch squirrel/coon dog(kill dog) and the mom(dogo) is a certified catch dog who hunts out to maybe 200yds. i figure the pups will have plenty of grit and decent enough noses to find a coyote with enough ...

say derek my inlaws live in sweetwater, hamlin and abilene...where are some good places to cut the dogs loose? if you'd like to pm please do it, been trying to find some people around there that hog hunt with no real success..i run a bmc and a dogo catch dog.

cat guy take the black part off of the ant. stretch out the wire to 16", then wrap it in shrink wrap put it up the collar like a traditional radio collar, zip tie the ant to the collar. take duct tape and wrap around the connection of the ant and the orange part, take duct tape and split long ways ...

a dogman once told me that when you think you should give up on a dog give him 2-3 more months, then re-evaluate that dog. remember hounds typically are slower to mature than other breeds. most dogs aren't fully grown till around a year or so...hounds are about 3-4years old before they are fully ...

i hunt with joe about 2-3 times a month and he has some good places down in east bernard. lots of land and no one will mess with your dogs.

to catch cats your dogs got to have some smarts, kind works against them sometimes(in situations like this). i try to never cut my dogs in the same exact area. if i cut my dog in the same place two times in a row, if he gets on track the first time he will try to run that same track i guess hoping ...

neither one of my dog's parents were silent(i think he is just cut from a different mold than most hounds). i think you could find some cold nosed plotts, i would try to get in touch with some bear hunters. many of their hounds have some cold noses and there are a fair amount that are silent as well ...
