rigging for bobs is what you want when there is no snow.
a good bob dog will skreem on a bob and you will know for sure what it strikes
if you want cat dogs you want one that will strike a stub from the truck
i ve seen dogs strike a stub track in the snow before the dogs got to track in the road ...

Does anyone have a dog that poops and pees in their own dog house? I do. I dont know if she is just lazy about that or what is going on. I put new shavings in house every couple of days. Nasty dog.

I have or had a deer lover. The best way I found that worked was consistant correction with electricity. Stay on the dog and don't up it will learn that it doesn't like deer anymore. As far as knowing if they are running deer usually they run in circles or stay in same area.
