Re: 52 lb. bobcat

Yes, that is a big cat. But that is an old article, and may have been poorly researched. Weight records are pretty much tongue in cheek. I dont know about all states. But, most records are by skull size. Weight is only a secondary thing that could be completely irrelevant. 20 pounder with a real ...

Re: SOUTH DAKOTA LION ENDS UP IN CONNECTICUT

stonesthrow, its the same here in michigan. Lions everywhere but no one can find a track, or get a CREDIBLE picture. Its a bunch of bs!

It's the power of suggestion.....plant a seed about something and sit back and watch people run with it.

Last actual true documentation of a WILD lion in ...

Re: how tough is a bobcat ? !!!!!!!!!

got thinking about this topic after the winter I had and this thread from last fall came to mind. Anyone catch any cats that changed their view? I just think this is a great topic and find it very interesting where people are from.

blk and tan question

anybody ever breed two different types of pure bred hounds and end up with some blk and tan pups when neither of the parents were? What were the combinations?

Re: mad cat!!

and got very excited. This cat had a huge foot but I think I missed his prime. Put two hounds down and they cold ...

Re: mad cat!!

dandavidson, not too sure about her breeding. I took her from my brother who got her near toledo ohio. She came from a guy named scarborough who is into competition coonhunting.
Kordog, about 20 years ago there was a walker female mixed in and some time before that a blk and tan male. He's mostly ...

Re: mad cat!!

kordog, he's used to dealing with ornery cat's. I'm sure your cats are alot like ours, that dog is 5 now and has started giving the bigger cats respect. They definetily got to have balls to stand in front of cats that size, thats one of the pluses to a hard headed dog.
