Yes, that is a big cat. But that is an old article, and may have been poorly researched. Weight records are pretty much tongue in cheek. I dont know about all states. kordog, he's used to dealing with ornery cat's. I'm sure your cats are alot like ours, that dog is 5 now and has started giving the bigger cats respect. They definetily got to have balls to stand in front of cats that size, thats one of the pluses to a hard headed dog.

34lbs...he was old and on the downswing. Still a big cat but when I saw his track that morning I was thinking 40lber. No complaints though
