Depending on the bluff lions can leap a long way up or down. There won't be a continuous trail in to them as they jumped from one point to the other. I've been on several that if the hounds didnt see them go over the edge they would have never caught them.

A grade dog is not registered it could be mixed up like a walker bluetick or whatever. A lot of the old time hunters bred best to best they didn't care what color they were.

I don't know where you're at but if you go to a welding shop a lot of times they can build it up for you take them a picture with dimensions and measurements. I built one several years ago that would hold 10 plus dogs and two mules in the back of a long bed Dodge.
