Thanks for the advice guys, I will probably go with more than one trap at each set from now on. That seems to make sense to me. Sure seems like a steep learning curve sometimes!
Thanks again
Dan

Re: WOLF TRAPPING IN THE US
hello there Brent,
Over the last couple weeks, I have been getting alot of near misses with our leg hold MB750's. we are getting good action on the piss post sets but the wolves seem to step over or around our traps. Some of this just maybe due to bad luck, or maybe something else. We have taken ...

Re: *GRAPHIC* DAMN WOLVES! (Not my dogs)
All wolf trapping classes in Idaho Clearwater region are filled, so if u call give them your name and number so they can contact u for the next classes. I believe there are going to be more due to the high level of interest!

Re: *GRAPHIC* DAMN WOLVES! (Not my dogs)
It doesn't get any more real than getting the season open to trap. Check out the IDFG website for dates on Wolf trapping Classes. U must go to this class to be able to trap wolves in Idaho legally. A Trap SET is out there hunting while u sleep, just like they are!

Re: *GRAPHIC* DAMN WOLVES! (Not my dogs)
Non Resident Wolf tags are $31.75, not too bad considering, a wolf hide could bring a guy 400 to 500 bucks if sold!

Re: *GRAPHIC* DAMN WOLVES! (Not my dogs)
OKAY hound guys. I live and hunt in this region of IDAHO. Pratically my back yard of hunting as it was for Shane. This year we got a chance to make a dent in our problem and the IDFG isn't putting a qouta on them, so if we are really concerned about the future of Hound hunting in Idaho, this is our ...

Re: Dog foods prices
I have fed the Kirkland Chicken DogFood for 3 years now. Dogs always look healthy, bounce back from hard hunting easier, and I don't have to feed very much of it. 27 bucks a for a 40lb bag is alot, but if we expect them to athletes then we should feed them like athletes! BTW just bought some the ...

The Garmin Cab mount anttena
I just purchased the Garmin Magnetic Mount Anttena the other day and I will say that it is a very nice addition to the system already. It was the difference of night and day, I couldn't get my dogs on the basic anttena, I would then plug in the Garmin roof mount and instantly I would start getting ...

Re: another garmin question...
From what I understand when trying to keep numbers apart, the first number doesn't mean anything. so if u have one with 17 and another with 57, they will interfer with each other. so just make sure all your last numbers are different. A guy just showed me that and it seems to work pretty good ...
