Mose i think you hit the nail on the head and i have heard that the Goodmans are a little timid till they get to know ya but will have to see more of them to find out. July's are supposed to have a little more grit than a Walker and a Croghan is supposed to be a fighter but a little deery.

I hope this doesn't make anybody mad but here goes.We all know that all breeds have all different types of hounds.The running hounds have good and bad as do the treeing hounds. I haven't seen much for treeing blood keep up with our running stuff but on the other side i haven't seen our running stuff ...

Never heard of em.Heard of Buckfields which were bred in Buckfield Maine.Croghan,Walker etc. all bred using the breeders names.Maybe someone trying to earn a name.Not sure and not trying to make someone mad,i have no idea,would like to know myself.

Yote hunting in Maine.

Yes i hunt yote with hounds but i'm 3 hrs and 20 min's away from you.139 miles.I'm on the Mid-coast in Friendship between Rockland and Waldoboro.A trail hound will be more effective for you in these Maine woods.
