Shocking Collars--What Age?
I was wondering what age your dog should be before you intorduce them to the shock collar? I have a 4 month old pup that has been picking up some bad habits and need to fix them. I don't want to use the shock collar on him if he is too young. What to you guys think?

Look on Fish and Game website. They should be able to give you some places to hunt near you.

Is it true that a mountain lion is afraid of a campfire? All I want to know is if this is a myth or actually true. Thanks.

Re: Hello from California's Central Valley
They have a club there called The Modesto Houndsmen. They have a site just type in Modesto Houndsmen. That's where a lot of hunters go for field trials. I'm sure there are guys that could help you out.

Re: Hound Silent on Track
Chiller, He is 2 years old. Has Been hunted like 15 times. I took him out like a couple of months ago, and he started running trash, but he was opening up on the track a little bit. He has been hunted in 4 months, but I'm going out tonight. I guess we will see how he does tonight?

Re: How to get permission to hunt on private land?
Do farmers have problems with coyotes(cow farmers) because I was considering helping them out, and then hunting their land in exchange?

Like if I got a drag together and then drug that for a long time and then put it up in a tree, for my dog to find... Would that help ...

Who can Answer these?
I have some questions for coyote hunting with hounds. How long does it normally take for the dogs to get a coyote? Like how long are the runs? Do you need a lot of land to run coyotes because they could be on private land? Lastly, is their a advantage to hunt coyotes with hounds?
