Finally found them a year ago, best boots I’ve seen. I havnt had a pair of boots last a year until I’ve tried these. Good quality, etc.
I am not a fan of leather boots so all of them are not in consideration for me ever.

Unless he’s in a enclosed pen you’re not going to predict readily what a coyote is going to do.

Re: yote race distance
If what you call turning is what I call bayed up or caught.. again it’s all dependent on conditions and the yote your running, the dogs you use.. Run a dry ground yote with best pack dogs around all day 50 miles might not catch ‘em and in hip deep snow with one dog I’ve caught plenty coyotes that ha...

Re: yote race distance
Bare ground or snow and what depth it is and conditions, and then the dogs you have behind the yote are going to determine the speed your chase is going to have.. Yotes will change the way they run depending upon conditions as well.. if it’s powder soft deep snow in the woods you will have a hard ti...

Re: Chewed Tripple Mag antenna cord…
Just cut it off where he hasn’t chewed on either side, strip it down to the core wire, sauder that and wrap it up with electrical tape or heat shrink if your fancy…
Small roll of sauder, use any kind of torch to melt it onto the wire..

Re: Biggerstaff hounds
In the last 2 years I have tryed 2 different pups from him, from 2 different crosses. The second pup was supposed to be from a 4th time proven cross. I have been more than disappointed with both. pups from him were 6 months to year old. Spayed or neutered. I culled the first one after training for a...

Nope,
his comments, knowledge and wisdom are missed by me. I can’t speak for him, but I think he has social distanced himself from the internet knowdays.

Is the collar on and still blinking when you find the dog ? Just not transmitting to your handheld? I have had this happen with interference with other collars, usually by not properly adding them into your system. make sure your handheld and all collars are updated to newest version as well. Deleti...

Re: Tow behind sled or...?
Of course the box mounted on the tunnel is easier to maneuver the snowmobile..most snowmobile tunnels are rated for 0 lbs. some utility types have a rating of 100 lbs er so. Don’t be afraid to drill holes in the side of tunnel and reinforce with extra support. Search this forum, there has been more ...

Re: Alpha 200i
In reach built in is a nice feature. For 14 dollars a month I have piece of mind that if I have problems in the backcountry I can get ahold of someone and not have to carry another device with me, also gives me confidence when I’m following on foot, if I do have a injury or something of the like I c...

Re: Bobcat stretchers
Take a look at the Grawes adjustable cat stretcher, that’s my favorite.
I drill holes above factory for adjusting to smaller cats at times.
If I made them at home I would
prefer a softerwood for pushing and pulling pins if possible and have a couple different length tailboards.

How to leave the tree..
The hunt has ended, you leave the animal in the tree. You’re satisfied and ready to leave.. Seems basic but I am curious for opinions/thoughts . some call them off or tone and then the next guy will leash multiple dogs, walking them out of thick woods for quite some way at times.. Right or wrong, I’...
