Re: does anyone know Max Zimmerman from Springerville AZ
Thanks Matt for the reply, I don't know how I got that mixed up. Anyway thanks, I sent you a pm, I didn't know the pups were stolen from you, but sent you a pm with the best I can do to help reconcile my dog. I hope you consider it and know I am good with the offer. Regards, SW

Re: your rigs MPG's when hunting?
2007 Ram 1500 4.7L 6 spd manual tranny, 14 average hunting with 30" tires, 10-11 with 35" tires, had up to 20-21 on the highway at ~62mph, 17-19 at the speed limit and empty. Drive slow and steady, and you will get better mileage... I get much less when I have to "keep up" with my hunting buddies. :)

does anyone know Max Zimmerman from Springerville AZ
I ended up with a pup out of one of his dogs, trying to figure out her bloodlines. If anyone knows how to get in touch with him or what his bloodlines are I would appreciate it. He used to work for a guy in TX named Waylon Bryant and thats where and when I met him and how I got a pup. I know he used ...

Re: pup training. sw
Trained again this weekend, one day on a lion hunt, one day with coon drags. Lil ole Ziggy is one awesome pup, I am posting pics of her in the bluffs with the older dogs. That Jack pup really turned it on again this weekend on the drags, he finished 2 drags, one with only the pups, one with the ...

Here is a video url for our pup training this weekend, there are lots of dogs in it, but 3 are less than 6 months old, and 2 of those are doing great. I don't know why the embeded code didn't work. But I hope you all enjoy the video. SW

Re: super glue on lacerations
Everyone here is right, leave a small drain hole if you choose to glue your dogs wounds, but I would rather not glue it. A dogs best defense for infection is his tounge, they carry antibodies in thier saliva that is one of the reasons a dog licks his sores. It does work well though, just the skin ...

Re: Please Help, Coon Hound having problems
All these points are right on, I had the same issues with my first pup, so I bought another pup (1st mistake) but the good out of it was they ran out further and looked around more. I was turning my trainers out in front of them, the good and bad are just what these guys are saying, they are sight ...

Brutha, I wish I started as young as you, I have only been working hounds for 2.5 years, worked bird dogs for 10+ years, and everyone has thier own ways and opinions. I have two pieces of advice, take em if you want. Listen to everyone, you can take bits and pieces of everyones success and failures ...

Re: Schnell
I think we all have something in common, we're not smart enough to hunt hounds. :) Well I live in Rio Rancho, been hunting hounds 2 years, we're starting our 3rd season, I got 6 now, but 3 are pups, 1 is 4yr old male walker (my first hound) and 1 year old walker and a 13 yr old walker(he don't hunt ...

Re: what age do you start your pups
Amen to that, keep them hunting, to add just a bit to my last post, I believe if a dog will tree, and you make it a good experience, they will trail to tree harder. That again is just my opinion. SW
