Re: !!! The Ultimate Bobcat Dog: Part 2.0 !!!
Curious why Dan might even want to show you his dogs work even if they did. Nothing to gain for sure.

Re: RZR 900 dog box
Razorback offroad out of Idaho makes a cage that also has a top rack on it. Has a rear door that can be locked. I built a little lower rail that bolts to bottom of door, only because the might have been able to get under it. Might look it up.

Re: Side by Side
Need to clean snow off tracks and axle boots after the day of riding. Some machines are hard to get to the boots for cleaning. I'd recommend looking at that when deciding on brand as well as above issues. The brush protecters are remove during installation so look at it like they aren't there. Unles...

Re: Side by Side
Couple more, fuel mileage is cut in half, always carry some. Should have more than 1 machine, shovel. Survival kit in machine and your pack, snow shoes.. Real wet snow is terrible in tracks,

Re: Side by Side
Most I know have the clutches tuned as if running 2" taller tires on the utv, helps on belts. I'd say 2 seaters only if mountain country. Weight is huge issue. The atv runs circles around utv. Some run blowers to clutching to cool belts. Snorkel is a very good option, rzr precleaner in the righ...

Re: Lion Killing Ranchers!!!!
Ok, have to comment. Curs profile says he's a "ranch manager". What kind of ranch? Federal land is not a ranch. If you are on a ranch you are on private land. Ranches do have grazing allotments that they pay AUMs to use, these are public lands. Yours as you say. My gut says the Red Baron i...

Re: Lion Killing Ranchers!!!!
Curs, your seeing red. By let it go I mean relax, calm yourself, think it over. I disagree that the wardens or whatever AZ calls them would treat illegal lion kills differently than elk. You were blaming ranchers then you said cowboys. There is a difference. I don't condone any poaching as you are s...

Re: Lion Killing Ranchers!!!!
Sometimes best to let it go. If you're finding them on a ranch and accusing them you probably won't be welcome anymore. Sportsmen and ranchers have been allies in the past. Now mostly posted land. Most new hunters kill everything. Then we learn.

Take a look at CZ 527 bolt action with set trigger. You might change your mind. Not to argue.

Re: Feeding
I feed twice a day, my dogs are between 50&60#'s, I feed them recommended amounts by the brand I feed. I let each have it for up to half an hour and remove any left over food. Give them the other half of the recommended amount at evening. If not eaten.I remove it again. Sometimes they need a lit...

Is it legal now for non resident to pursue bobcat in Montana? I could only find resident training license.

Re: !!! The Ultimate Bobcat Dog: Part 2.0 !!!
The real problem in this thread is obviously the name. Just to help folks out, Dan isn't at his personal goal. If you look at his prior posts (1, 1.5) and now 2, you should be able too conclude this is open ended. Next will be 2.5, this could end at 30.5 or longer. I think he probably has a goal aro...
