A polaris ranger with a bear or coon drag behind it and that gets my dogs in serious shape if you have a place to ride. Hopefully that also helps.

I'm from michigan too. Where abouts you hunt? Running walkers are very good yote dogs. I have treeing walker myself I think it gives you more game to hunt that they will take to i also have a bluetick just for coon. Maybe get together and hunt sometime. Graham

just started messing with my dog the other day with a bear drag and bear sent. My dogs have already been introduced to bear but it is good to still do this so they still have a understanding of what to do in my opinion it makes them better dogs to then when you get a chance to practice them on ...

Using a drag is not a waste of time to me anyways. Just don't do it to much they get bored with it. Make sure your going to dedicate to hunting lions also if you are using a drag but not going to hunt them on a lion also then you going to waste your time on something your not hunting. happy hunting!
