If you can bring a few lions over in ya hand luggage i would be happy to go tip them out in the mountains.

The Foxhounds were banned after a couple of bad incidents viewed by the public with hounds assisting a deer off his feet.
The hounds do catch up with the deer even if it takes all day at which stage they will bail him up ( deer stands or walks with dogs baying the same as a treed cat.)

We used Foxhounds as did everyone up until 6 years ago when they were banned.
Our foxhounds had been bred into what should have been called a Sambar Hound.
Some were pure bred but many had 1/8 Bloodhound, some a bit of coon hound, bluetick.

I train all my young hounds on rabbits for 8 weeks to 6 months. gets them using there nose.
Also shoot alot with 12g and .22 with or without dogs( i use a GSP and Jack Russell Terrier) can shoot between 12 and 50 a night after work and 200 or more spotlighting of a night.
Makes for cheap hound tucker.

I have straw in the bottom of my crate so i just put a couple of handful's where i tipped them onto the mark or walked them in and where i and or any of the guys walked out.
They will usually always follow scent out.

I hunt a pack of Bloodhounds and Beagles on Sambar Deer.
