Well took the dogs for a good hike, had about a 4 mile cold trail and not one dog ever opened, they trailed into a barnyard at the bottom of the mountain and it ended there. Bring on the bears!!

Last day of lion/bobcat season today, haven’t caught a damn thing in quite a while but I haven’t been putting forth much effort. Bear season starts tomorrow so hopefully get my motivation back.

That’s a shame for sure! Sad that would happen to anyone but such a young man cut down before he got to live his best life. Hopefully some day they will see they need to get their lion population in check.

Sounds like a pretty good week! Weather man is calling for a pretty big storm starting Saturday and not quitting till Tuesday sometime, predicting 12 inches in the valley but I’m doubtful it was 65 degrees yesterday.

Perk I’ve definitely heard of dogs doing that, he was extremely timid towards not only people but other dogs as well so definitely could have been the case. He made a great lion dog and eventually stopped being afraid of anything. I sent him to a guy and that dog trained up quite a few pups for him....
