Bachelor party
Does anyone have any in sight on any guides down south that could put up 4-8 guys for a hog hunt for roughly 3days 2 nights, open to everything from stands, spot and stalk, dogs and we are coming from Wisconsin so wether it's Texas to Florida location won't matter much thanks for any in sight ...

It would prolly get used more for bear hunting and occasionally deer hunting, and ya I'm pretty stuck on rugers

SRH vs RH
I plan on purchasing a revolver here in the near future and have narrowed it down between the ruger super redhawk and the redhawk. My main concern is being able to carry the 7.5" SRH vs the 5" RH on my hip.
Will be used as a side arm in WI, hopefully the dogs do their job so I won't have to use it ...

That was kind of my thought process but wanted to hear what people with much more experience then myself had to say about it. Or the pros and cons to it as well

Thank you for the advice, I live and hunt in WI. And I primarily coon hunt from central to southern wi, where there are no bears or bobcats. And would primarily hunt bobcats in winter. Just to give you some more informstion

Where I coon hunt there isn't bear or cats so that's an advantage but after leaving a bear bait its a crab shoot to know what will be in the tree was my thought. Im not overly concerned with walking into a coon tree when expecting a bear tree, my main concern would be screwing the dog up.
