Where about in the state you at! Our group treed a pile of bears in December! Over 30 in a couple weeks!!

It prob has a coIl in the base of it to get the opedence tuned just right. Like most gain antennas! Anything longer than a 1/4 wavelength antenna usually has this I believe.. I could be wrong just my guess

Well I can say it went well in the opener in the northern counties today my buddies and there dogs killed 6 by 2 pm and ran many others mostly sows with 2 and 3 cubs.. It was a great day to be out

How the opener going in the southern WV counties!! Prob awe full warm but should be plenty of big bears to run. Hats off to the ones treeing them in probably the roughest terrain in the US!!

I'm just getting started myself here in WV seems I can get more cats on camera than coons!! they seem to be plentiful.
