Have your Dad swing by the shop and we can get his system up and working.. I think it's just a couple settings that need changed.

Not sure if my dad is the only one to figure this out the hard way, but he ran his 320 when he went hunting with me and I was using my alpha 100 and his collars just quit working and he couldn't track his dogs. Things just kind of went haywire so he called Double U and they told him if you run them...

It's not bluetooth.

Disconnect the GPS antenna and try to update following the video with a 320. If the GPS circuit check doesn't pass it will normally fail aroun7-9 percent. If it consistantly fails around that number then you might be able to replace the GPS pod on top. But you can update the software without the GPS...

Gagne is correct. You need to run the Full version of the Basecamp not the app version. That's also the reason you need to have a "FULL" Windows tablet. If you buy a tablet make sure you buy the full version windows tablet and not the RT version. THe RT version you can not install full win...

Yes It would be nice. I don't think this is going to be the system. Lot's of issues.
