Do you guys know if a cell phone signal booster in the truck will fry the Alphas too?

Garmin Alphas and Truck Cell Phone Signal Boosters
I am looking to purchase a WeBoost Cellphone signal amplifier (4G-X) and I was wondering if using that along with my Garmin Alpha (with roof mounted long range antenna) could fry my Alpha as seems to be the case for the guys who use the VHF radios.
