Re: RE: Re: Packing in dogs
First time after the track is hot and the trail dogs are really moving and not just cold trailing and I get the chance mine are gone. Too many dogs on a cold trail that isn't really straightened out is a recipe for disaster in my opinion. Do you use different dogs to trail everytime so that they al...

Re: Favorite Spring Bear Bait
I personally use corn, mollasses and fryer grease from spring until fall. In the spring I put beavers out to if I can get them. Well, I'll put anything out that they will eat if I can get my hands on it but using corn and mollasses is the most convenient and cheapest way to do it for me.

Packing in dogs
Just out of curiousity, and to have something to talk about. How many of you guys prefer to keep dogs in the box to pack into a race later after the bear has been ran a while in hopes of it helping to tree the bear when he's a bit tired and you're putting in fresh dogs? And how many of you pretty mu...

Re: Coyote/bear cross training.
I have started doing this and I know a few guys from my area that do it also and have good luck. I don't have the most experience with it yet myself being as its my first year doing it and I haven't gotten my dogs back on bear after getting them to run coyotes. But I will say my dogs have gotten hel...

Duncan B and T Track Speed
You guys who have these dogs.. how is their speed on track? I have one dog that is fast on track, its half treeing half running walker. My other two black and tans (line bred off ozarks screamin bo) can run at his pace for some distance but then fall behind. I'm curious what anyone has seen out of t...

Coyote Taken In Front of The Hounds
Just a quick video from a couple weeks ago here in Ontario. We spent hours that morning trying to find one and once we did it was over in 20 minutes. Enjoy.

Re: Hauling dogs behind a snowmobile
I would build the box and tongue of the sled first before mounting the skis. Once you have that built set it all on top of the skis and move it back and forth until you find the balance point, mark it, and mount the skis there. If the skis are in front or behind the center of the box at all, the bal...

Spring Hound Running and Bear Taken Video
https://youtu.be/wqJyJ1wXycQ I just got into running hounds on bear this spring and am in the process of training a couple of pups that I bought. Heres a video of some running we did this spring and a bear that I took over the dogs. Location: Ontario, Canada Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
