Boulder Tuff, all these guys have gave you some dang good advise, I will try to add to it a little, if you can find a outfitter or guide to kinda hang out with for a couple seasons would be great, tell them you will work hard for them just to learn from them, set up camp, tare down and pack up, cook...

Renn, I live in east oregon also, it sounds like your mare has been hurt, without being there to watch her when you saddle her up it can be kinda hard to help you, it sounds like she is sore or maybe even worse , if she has flipped somtime in her liftime she could have hurt herself anywhere in the b...

Call me crazy, but after 36 years of hound hunting I think its the one's that get away is what keeps me in the game. I know that sounds crazy but I really believe if I cought everthing I turned loose on at this stage in my life I would do a burn out and cash it in .
