“lawdawgharris: Lol Rowdy, there aren’t many talkers for sure. Too many people can’t accept the difference in others taste in dogs and too many wear their feelings on their sleeve. This is the recipe for pi$$ing matches and hard feelings more times than not. There is a jacka$$ that just tries to sti...

Re: Let’s talk.

I wish it was easier to post pictures on here. Having to upload through a hosting site is dumb. I found where a deer hunter dumped a hide and bones after the dogs started a fox and had been running it for a couple hours. There were tracks from what I assume were from an eagle. They were the size of ...

Re: Let’s talk.

Yeah, mine are digging out, digging into the neighboring kennels and barking a lot. They were very happy to go out last week. So happy in fact, I had to force several of them back into the dog box when it was time to go home.

Re: First Post;Long Time Lurker

Okay, that’s a start. They’re willing to run a bobcat. Some dogs just won’t follow a lion or bobcat track or they overrun it. Dry ground hunting is very tough. Just finding a track is really hard most of the time. It’s easier to hunt 24 hours after a snow. It gives you the ability to see a track and...

Re: First Post;Long Time Lurker

Are you running bobcats there where you’re at? Edit: That’s where I would recommend starting. Also you’ll need to exercise your dogs more and get their feet tougher. The steep mountains with snow and rock will wear a dog out while bloodying their feet. I live and hunt in Nevada. If there isn’t any s...

Re: Let’s talk.

Finally made time to go hunting the other day. The dogs needed it bad. Cut one old lion track, too old for my mutts. They trashed once on deer and then settled for a fox. Let them run that track for about 5 hours until they were spent. (They were kenneled for almost 5 months with minimal exercise, d...

Re: Beer Hunting Gears

Well that depends. Some people prefer blue jeans and a pearl snap. Some prefer a dollar store wife beater tee shirt. Others a suit and tie. Beer can be found in many different places. Bars, restaurants, liquor stores, walmart, gas stations, etc. Walmart is usually the cheapest, but you can typically...

Re: How do ya’ll keep so many dogs

“Beebout-it: If it wasn't for my wife and sin I wouldn't be able to have as many as I do, all summer long im leaving the house by 4am and not home till 8pm so they do all the feeding, cleaning, shots. If my wife had it her way our 20 acres would be a hound retirement facility for old dogs. I'm very ...

“Spencer: stay off of the computer and get it done in a week!! i always get sidetracked on the damn computer so things take twice as long. BTW, hows the tiling going?” I’m tryin, put in 3 days this week. Of course when I pulled out the carpet, I found subfloor repairs that were done poorly and led t...

Re: Snow Tires

So I’ve been watching a youtube channel called Matts off-road recovery. He almost exclusively uses Milestar Patagonia MT’s on his jeeps. He talks about them occasionally and has said that he’s only had like 2 flats in 10 years with them. They’re much cheaper than the Truxus’ and are kinda similar. h...

Re: Let’s talk.

The old lady and I filled our first tags. We’re gonna try to go out this Sunday for the last day of the season and try to get our second bucks. Then I’ll be committed to tiling most of the house before Thanksgiving. Hopefully I can get it done in time. Then I’ll be hitting the lions hard all winter....
