Re: Wormer

My intention in participating in this topic was not to throw out a "spheal", or "pitch". If it came across that way, that was NOT my intention, and I apologize. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and sources of information, which is what makes an open forum so great. My mention of DE, is ...

Re: Wormer

Cobalt--DE is indeed an effective, chemical free, alternative to the chemical wormers.

Further research will show, that a thorough 5 day regimine of DE, should prove effective, as a means to remove intestinal parasites, as the digestive track will show results of passing DE, in 24 hours. It is ...

Re: flea problem

Try some of my Diatomaceous Earth. You dust the hounds, the bedding, the houses, the dog boxes, and the grounds with it. It's safe to ingest, because you can worm with it too. It's even safe if you need to dust a carpet in the house and your babies were to ingest it. It's Food Grade. You can mix it ...

Re: Wormer

Colbalt--It is a shame that you didn't have any luck with DE, as many studies, field trials, and USDA approval have shown it to be a VERY effective wormer, as well as pest control. There are of course, many different factors involved, as to what makes one product more or less effective than another ...

Re: Wormer

Hi all,

All of the discussion about the chemical wormers, have brought me to carry the Diatomaceous Earth, as a chemical free, effective wormer. I offer the food grade which is the kind that is safe to be ingested.

The DE, will take care of all kinds of intestinal worms or parasites, whether it ...

Re: Arizona Guys - How hot is to hot for the dogs in the box?

With the rig box you have pictured, I wouldn't think it would be too bad at all, especially, if you wet them, the carpet, and the straw. I'm thinking that with all of that wet, the drive up the highway and any congestion that may occur around the 202, the hounds should be pretty happy, and the ...

Re: Arizona Guys - How hot is to hot for the dogs in the box?

Being a native of Arizona, I've always used the rule of; if I, as human, wouldn't want to sit in a box in the bed of a truck, because it's a little warm, than it's to warm to haul the hounds.

Another thing to try; if it's a marginally warm day, meaning, not a blazing hot day, take your shoes off ...

Re: hello from az

Thank you Irv--for the well wishes on the road. This trip home has me buying a new truck and trailer to hit the shows with. :D Meaning I did VERY well at Plott Days--and the others too. :D I will however, manage to keep my roof top tent setup somehow. I just haven't worked that out yet. I guess if I ...

Re: hello from az

That was me! The one with the tent on the roof rack. I saw a truck with the CA plates, at the hotel, Wednesday night. You?!? Sorry I missed you if it was. I'm heading out to Autumn Oaks here shortly. I'm hoping to hit some more of the shows on the west coast soon. Maybe I'll see you at one of those ...
