To be honest with you, I was very nervous when he took the first shot! My best dog was right below the bear. They had him bayed up on a large rock! Right before he shot i thought to myself i hope he doesn't aim low! Lol but it all ended well!

Well the dogs did it again. 2nd Bear kill in less then a week.
The hunter made a great early shot around 350 yards.
The bear ran about 400 yards while the dogs kept running and baying him up
We got in for the second shot. The Bear grabbed a few dogs and shook them
a bit and then took off again ...

We had an awesome day today! It was a long walk for my boy, (6 years old) but the sounds from the hounds kept him moving! I love bear hunting and the memories that it makes forever!

I just picked up a pup from Matt Thom. He has a very
good personality. I got him to give to my boys for Christmas.
So I haven't done a hole lot with him yet. But I have high
hopes just because of his personality. I can tell that he
isn't going to coward to anything or anyone. Loves to run

We got a rough score from the taxidermist of 20 and 1/4. So didn't quite make the
books but still a nice bear.

We got this bear last week. Well over 400lbs

We use the Grawes with are pups. Just to run as a drag and to get them interested in putting there noses to the ground. Just make sure to keep it cold. It will go rotten pretty quick. You can see the hair, fat and glands and what not in the bottle. It looks pretty nasty but we have a good luck with ...

My uncle in law saw some tracks on 70. last week in the snow. So they are moving a little but that is the only thing we have seen.

We go hunting 4 or 5 times a year on our mules. I love to go anytime I have an
opportunity to ride. We normally go on the mules while the weekend worriers are
out and about to stay clear of everyone. We have got on a bear every time we
hit the high back country here in Utah. It is always a blast ...
