KC uses redbones.. If you want to buy a dog that will start and catch its own coyote it will typically be fairly expensive.. I would have to assume that the snow in the winter is fairly light so you would definitely need spped if you want to actually catch. Typically running walkers (foxhounds ...

Kinfield / Eustis area. I never really thought about the expanded steel/mesh stuff. I'm gonna look into that too.

hot weather dog box??? steel tubing??

anybody got a picture or plans for a 6-8+ hound hot weather dog box? was thinking about maybe some 1"x1" steel tubing all the way around including the doors etc.. and a plywood roof and floor.. Similar to a bed topper but i got a flat bed so I need sides.. I been using a wood box but when running ...

That's the only way we run coons here in maine. We can cover a lot of ground. Gas prices suck but with a good coon dog we get a lot of strikes and tree a lot of coons
