Re: Needing info on Cameron dogs!!

I wouldn't expect Cameron hounds to be top coon dogs, but I could be wrong. last time I showed a cameron pup a coon it looked at him a bit funny, but that was it. Maybe something different would happen if I showed him one today.

Re: Give me a list Mike Leonard

Realdog - Why don't you post your real name and location? Perhaps your qualifications as well. Just to get it out there. Otherwise it seems that your whole goal with this thread is a trolling excercise. You have come on anonymously and made demands, demands that will identify other people in a publi...

Re: long eared blues

I'm looking for something just a little different. Not trying to have more of the same.

Line breeding and inbreeding may be suitable under some circumstances, but I'm looking for a deliberate outbreeding. I'm still looking for the right female that would be a good compliment.

+10 for the organic chemist.

I've been using this approach with success for years now, and no one believes me. They all want to use tomato juice...

Re: Gascon Santongeois

The folks at Parc de la Romane have some good looking hounds.

What do you suppose importation entails? Would customs and quarantine issues be a concern? Is it just a matter of having enough money for fees?

Re: 22 questions

I got one of those pump Rossi's and LOVE IT. It was a spontaneous purchase. When I saw and handled it I couldn't put it back on the shelf. It's stainless with "exotic" brazilian hardwood so it's beautiful too. No sling though. I also have a cut down 10/22 (stock not barrel) that a friend u...

Re: Type of dry ground

Down where I'm at the ground is dirt or rock even in the winter. There's no moisture to act as a scent solvent and glue down the aroma. The sun just cooks off the scent even when it's cooler out.

Re: Gascon Santongeois

Big n'Blue - I'm right in the middle of NM. I can hit desert, mountains, or in between, in almost any direction. Pretty much mostly hot and dry, even in winter, though I can drive further/higher. The people orientation trait is quite desirable in a bigger dog. Especially with dogs that may be around...
