We use ICOMS Kenwood and Motorolas. The only problem I see is after everyone had to switch to narrow band the distance in a lot shorter. Here in Michigan it seems that in the farm ground the distance still seems alright(still not the same) but where we train and hunt in thicker cover it its not near ...

Training season got changed last year, you can start training on July 8th and I'm not sure of the non-resident part.
