Re: march 6 2010 treed 5 coons
So far I really like her. Hard headed a little but hope to over come that this bear season. Got her from Ryan Davidson. He bred his little Oney bitch to Dustin Myers Idaho Lightfoot Gambler dog. Sounds like you have some good coon hunting up your way?

Re: march 6 2010 treed 5 coons
Close to that. Two different trees. 3 in one and 2 in the other. We ended up taking one out of the pack. I will tell you something that KC sure has a good little bitch for them coons. And to top it all off he got her for FREE!! How many of you all keep a journal of your coon hunts? Date, Time ...

Re: Garmin Astro Burned up by VHF Marine Radio
Just my input. The raido I use can put out 65, 25, 10, and 5 watts of power. The Garmin Rhino is very much like the Astro. The only differance is the Rhino will track another Rhino and has two way raido communication that is 5 watts of power ware as the Astro will only track 10 colors. Long story ...

Re: Extreme excitement and Tracking collar advice!!!
Johnson Collars and Wildlife Receiver. That is what I use and they work great for me. Also check into the Garmin Astro with the DC30 Collars. Some folks like them and some don't. I love mine.

DC30 Fix!
bluedogs249,
Try and go to your local electric store and purchase some shrink sleevs. put them over your collars and use a heat gun to shrink them over the old ones. they work great and you can collar code them as well.

Nice catch.
bigelk,
Great job on them cats. Looks as if you are ahead of the game on the rest of us. Love the looks of those old Toms in trees. How do you do on the Bears each year on that side of the state? Do you ever make it down into Utah and run much?
