Re: kennels or chain
I like chains because I think they lead better and it doesn't stink like kennels do. Even if a person keeps kennels clean I think they still stink.

Re: feeding game meat?
I feed deer carcasses all winter long and I haven't much trouble with running deer. At least not enough to blame it on feeding deer carcasses. It also cuts my feed bill in half.

Re: Noses on dry ground lion dogs vs Cold nose snow dogs?
I have heard that it is tough to run cold tracks in the dry dirt. But from what I have seen from running coyotes in the winter is that when the its really cold out the snow gets really dry and doesn't hold as much scent, and the hounds start having trouble cold trailing. But I have never run on dry ...

Re: best place to run dogs??
If you have any corn fields around you that would be the first place I would try. Otherwise swamps and creeks would be the next spot I would try.

Staghounds
After seeing some pictures of those stag hounds. I was wondering if anybody else had any pictures of videos of any of those sight hounds in action on coyotes. I was also wondering how well they work on catching coyotes and where I could possibly get one.

Slick Treeing
I have a 2 year old treeing walker female who does a really good job of treeing coons. But once in a while she gets a little too excited I think and she slick trees. Would it be a good idea to put the shock collar on her and shock her when she does it? Or is there any other and better options to try?
