I have a female red tick that is hardtyme on bottom and crocket on top. I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on this crocket line. And maybe someone that is still breeding this line heavily. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Wanting to learn more
Well I'm looking for some info on good big game bred dogs in or around the northeast. I have tried to contact a few people in this area looking for a stud dog. I have a female that is just amazing to me as far as her nose speed and looks chasing bobcats. I'm not sure of her bloodlines yet as I haven ...

Re: Any Maine, NH, VT cat hunters
I run down here in VT. I ride sleds up near Rangley. Talked to a few snowshoe hunters and heard that there were alot of cats up there. I run a plott female redtick female and have a couple of blueticks that are not to shabby. None finished but they do pretty good for me. lots of fun with them. lol

Re: Decline of the bluetick hound.
One gentleman out there in Idaho would happen to be Mr. Ralph hatter running them old Vaughn/Sabastian dogs. You know them old slow loud mouth ones. But I wouldn't by anything else. Actually I can't say that because I have one upson and two Hammer dogs. but the rest are vaughn and sabastion. I also ...

Re: Bobcat vs. Coyote
I have not seen the two interact in person, But have caught A bob and a coyote on a dead dear that we had put out with a digital camera. The bob was all flared up and the coyote was front paws down with his head on the ground not wanting anything to do with that big old bob.

Re: Bobcat Hunters Words of Wisdom
Well considering how tight things were as far as money goes, I really didn't have much choice in the matter. Unfortunately he was taken in just a few days from the post. but thats how life goes I guess. Just have to try to find another one just like him. I now have a female who is about four months ...

Re: Bobcat Hunters Words of Wisdom
That's right too. I didn't know that this was the gentleman that you were talking with. I also wanted to let you know that shotgun seems to be doing very well on them there black haired giants that you love to run. Man what a mistake it was to let him go. I'll regret this one for a long time to come ...

Re: Bobcat Hunters Words of Wisdom
Ya I herd that there wasn't many cats up there in the north of the state. I am loaded down here. Maybe sometime we can get together and do a little running down here somewhere. I know where a few cats are hanging out for the most part. Just getting ready to send the pup to north carolina for some ...

I know that this question has been asked before but I have never asked it so I'm going to give it a shot. The end of this summer I would like to purchase a finished bobcat dog of either a plott or blue tick. Nothing against the others just family preferences. I know that they are worth their weight ...
