That happened to me one night coonhunting. Dumped the dogs in a little creek bottom and kind of followed along uphill from them. They struck and worked a track uphill to the tree I was leaning against. I couldn't believe it, but there he sat looking at us.

Just about every place I hunt around here has both living in the same general area. Never really had any trouble with it.

Ya know, you work your butt off to try and do it right. Try to be a positive representative of our great sport and this comes along and gives us all a black eye. I wonder sometimes what exactly are these people thinking.

The average around here for a "got to work the next day" coonhunt is 2 or 3. The best I have done is 9 singles in one night.
