From the pic it looks like your in the northwest, so feed is probably cheaper than in the south. Right now its up around $20 a bale, so it runs $100-$150 roughly a month. Take you a hunting trip to Montana and bring back a load of hay with you and that will cut your bill probably in half. Learn how ...

$15.50 alfalfa 3 string 115# bales
$14.50 bermuda 3 string 115# bales. Nice hay, order over 30 bales delivered for free.
This was roughly a month ago in central AZ.

My buddy drew a Kodiak Island Goat hunt (lucky sob). You can buy over the counter caribou and blacktail tags there, so thats the plan. If we hit it right, we should be able to nail the silvers while were there.

Dean, I like reading your post and viewing your pics, I'm sure you're a great houndsman. But as far as taxidermy, throwing years out there as creditials, it really doesn't mean squat. This guy has been doing taxidermy for 39 years, I've seen better beginners.

Dean, if theres NO market for pet taxidermy then why is there so many that do it? Granted freeze drying seems to be more the route that most go with(still a form of taxidermy), but there is some that do traditional. United States also is not the only country that has taxidermy, overseas pet taxi ...
