Just to clarify guys, you cannot kill a lion after dark in washo county, nv. So if you are thinking about hunting in that part of Nevada you will have to do your shooting during daylight hours, other county's are different. Ask the area game warden about the law, it's a hard one to find in the game ...

Not much for roads where I'm at, but lots of quad trails, wolves are not a big problem for us. Our wolves avoid man at all cost. You can not lion hunt in the Sheldon at all. There is a little ground along the cali/ Oregon border that is outside of the Sheldon but it is mostly private. And you will not get permission from the ranchers there. They do not like hounds. You are way better off to go twards denio, or south twards ...

I was just wondering if there was anyone on here who is running dogs in Alaska,
I am now living in Palmer, and have been running black bear up here for the last 4 years and just wondered f there was anyone else around with dogs since I have never seen anyone else in the woods

i also live in alaska. and as a hound man up here who has had the oppertunity to run some griz on occasion (by mistake of course) i can tell you that it has been my experiance that the average griz will run 3 time as long as the average black bear, and the country they are proposing the ariel ...
