i am from northern Utah, we have seen and heard wolves up on Monte Cristo and back by the border or Deseret Land and Livestock just this past elk hunt. they are hear and not just passing through. i agree with attic rat, keep as much sent off of the trap as possible. Dye and wax the traps in the spring and let them dry out side, after they dry store them in a plastic tote or a fiber drum and handle them with gloves.

check your state regulations , but i like to use a 220 conibear on culverts or even a 330. Is the culvert dry or is there water running through it? You can also try a cinder block sitting inside the pipe with a piece of sod turned upside down with the trap placed on it. Wire the chain off to the ...
