Re: WISCONSIN BEAR HUNTERS
It is legal to recover both deer and bear with a leashed dog. That was confirmed by John Windt the game warden here in Iron County, also check out united blood trackers.org they have a map of all the states and the laws for each.

Re: Need info on handheld radios, two ways.
yea marine band is a vhf freq like ham's except it's set in a certain bandwith, vhf is a line of sight band so deep canyons and heavy timber cut the range quite a bit,but they are way better than cb's or frs/gmrs

In Wi it's 3 bucks to apply and 40 or 45 for the tag if you get drawn for a resident.

Re: dumping the box on bears in the road?
I've seen all sorts of weird stuff with bear crossing the road, BUT if you see the bear cross and aren't consitantly catching that bear, get different dogs. If I see one cross, I want to get a dog on it right as soon as possible. Find the spot it crossed and put them down. Why give them a head star...

Re: Michigan Bear Hunting Info.
If you apply for the bergland zone, and the 3rd season you can usually get one in 4 years,i live right on the border so we hunt there, just as much as Wi.

Re: NOT AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH?
It just depends what they're used to,i have some plotts that will try to kill anything they catch, but at home let chickens and goats eat thier food.
