Re: Idaho non res
Thanks guys, I think I'm just gonna stick with Nevada, cheaper and no wolves. I didn't even think about the wolf issue. So what's the access there like, do I need a snowmobile or can you get around pretty good in a truck, is there good road systems?

Re: Cats in thick blow downs?
That is a good point coastrangecathunting, I would rather hunt in areas that give the dogs a better chance at gettin the cat, but if the only track I found was in some of that nasty stuff I'd sure as hell put down on it. I guess the dogs can't learn to catch one in that stuff if they never hunt in ...

Re: Cats in thick blow downs?
I would try and stay away from that nasty blowdown, if you can. I got some areas I won't even go to because of that crap, and I can find them in better areas. I think once those cats start walkin logs, jumpin to other logs a what not it would take a damn good dog to get one. If that blowdown is the ...

Re: CANT tree a cat!
Yeah I think that was a pretty messed up statement foxcat! For one you don't anything about his dogs, what their breeding is or how many cats he has put them on,or what the conditions were like. What if he has only put them on a few cats so far, are you saying you've caught every cat you have put ...

Re: CANT tree a cat!
I hear you man. This is my first year hunting hounds, I've treed some coons, but them cats are tough. I would just keep putting them on as many cats as you can, and I would say eventualy they will get it done. This being my first year I could definatly believe buddys statement about 5 years to make ...
