430 or 320?

which handheld do I want to buy? gonna upgrade from my 220 and dc30's don't know if the T5's are a big difference from the dc30's or if I want to go with the 320 and still be able to use one or two of the dc30's? planning to run mostly t5's tho, would just keep the 30's around for puppies

Re: How to get permission to hunt on private land?

showing up with a 5th of crown royal never hurts. So yer out $30 if they say no. if they are on the fence about letting you it usually gets the job done.

Re: cat bites

this was not something that would send anyone straight to the vet. there were no serious wounds to speak of on the dog. nothing with flowing blood, and no visible puncture wounds. a couple little scratches around the muzzle. Had I not been standing there and seen the cat bite down on his neck head a...

cat bites

just thought I'd give everybody something to keep in mind. This dog took advantage of a lion making a bad step, and got the cat by the throat. He got a dose of both teeth and claws before the lion squirted out from under him and up another tree. two days later his head swelled up. A trip to the vet ...

Re: **BUYER BEWARE**

obviously he didnt do much askin around about Cleo, it doesnt take much work to find out what his reputation is as a dog jockey. Dont have much sympathy for guys that get in these predicaments.

Re: Proposal in Montana hound bear hunting

397 eliminating all quotas and permits isnt exactly accurate, and 397 was the only bill that had some serious momentum, flying through the senate heading in to the house vote. It sure made the hound community look like they have no desire for a bear season when they all were standing up against a bi...

Re: Proposal in Montana hound bear hunting

why on earth would you give any money or time, let alone a bucket of piss to the MSHA!?!? I was there when they testified so strongly against our last shot at running bears, it was Roalnd Deane that time. Save your money and time for something that will matter. Half the guys in that assoc. are part ...

Re: Frigid Weather Cat Hunting

the cats definately move and get wacked when the temps drop to the negatives. far as running your dogs in that kind of cold its for guys that arent much of a houndsman and dont do it for the dogs. Seems to me the kill hungry are the ones that push the temperature limits. Ask yourself why you are dum...

Re: Montana Bear with hounds SB 397

I was at the hearing, was pretty disguted with the lack of support for the bill and the people that were there to oppose it. Montana houndsmen ass, bitterroot houndsmen ass and one other houndsmen. Far as I'm concerned the lions can take a hit to get some bear hunting, they have and always will surv...

Lyons Colorado guys

got a friend that just moved to Lyons, pinewood is the neighborhood. She is getting over run with lion stories from the new neighbors about lions killing dogs on porches and so on. Any of you guys in that area that can either confirm or deny the rumored overpopulation of dog eating lions in that are...

Re: cut dogs?

You don't see many people riding stud horses for pleasure or much anything else a cut dog makes a better dog . That is what Van Johnson told me just today, while I was visting with him while my buddy James was picking up a dog from him. i believe that you lose a few years on the back end of a dogs ...
