Re: New Garmin Tracking/Shocking System
I only have one question, is there any truth to what I heard of Garmin buying out Wildlife Materials?

Re: hiding your traps
Use a large dirt hole set rather than buckets. Then you can use a drag, and let the animal hide itself. Or you can use a slide wire and run it to some cover to get them out of site. As for trap thieves I always thought a hand grenade set up would be nice.

I used to get dogs from him. Called him a couple years back. Left a message wanting some pups. He called and left a message saying he was getting divorced and not around much and would get back to me. Last I ever heard. Tried locating him aggressively last year. Asked people with his breeding to ...

Re: raw meat
Beaver carcasses are great if you can get them. Also have fed horse meat. It all slicks them up and sure puts the muscle on. Especially in the cold months and when hunting hard. Meat keeps then too. Beats the cost of running a freezer.

Re: Those of you new to lion hunting take advantage of the s
I believe no truer words were ever said. I am 53 years old. I have hunted and trapped all my life. Awful lot of miles studying tracks and sign. I've always said that to consistently and I mean consistently catch an animal you must know that animal. Pay attention to that animal and he will teach you ...

Re: Packing out elk any advise.
I've used the meat bags that go over riding saddles. They work well if your on pretty good trails, that aren't too narrow. With pack saddles I prefer the deckers as I tie with mannys. I can pack anything in this way and is much more sturdy. Less chance of wrecks on steep narrow trails and can take a ...

Re: Dog House Help
I use blue plastic barrels. Put a couple drain holes in the bottom. Screw a 2x4 along each side to keep them from rolling and cut a hole in one end. Works well , I just stuff them with clean straw for bedding. You can also put a piece of canvas over the front, however I don't seems dogs like to be ...
