I would be interested in meeting. Let me know if we can get it set up. It can't be in May. Late March, Early April or June would be good.
Thanks

Re: Snowmobile
I have a 94 Polaris 440, 2 up, fan cooled that I would sell for $800. It has the hitch for a trailer, but I haven't used it in 2 years. It runs good, or did last I started it. Mine pulls 6 dogs pretty good. I like the fan cooled the best when the snow gets hard.

Re: Lion Hunting Plotts?
I can catch lions with or with out snow with my Plotts. They are not the best but they do a very good job. I prefer to hunt with out snow. Snow is cold and hard to walk in. I will take dry any day, but it is harder to find a cat to run.
My son has a real good walker also.

Re: This is what works for me.
Good post Tee. That is how we do it also. I sometimes use the leash for the first 100 yards but after that we turn the dogs loose. I think we hunt a lot of the same units. We will probably meet some day.

Re: Whats the most lions you have treed in a season?
My best year was the first year I hunted lion in 1991. We treed 38 when I was there, but I didn't own the dogs. It was a good friend of mine. We averaged about 15 a year after that until he died in 2005. I got my own dogs in 2007 and treed 9 the first year. Been about that every year since. It is a ...

I run between 3 and 7. When I run 7, 2 of them are young pups.

I think some of the line can be real good. They didn't work for me, some of the other lines of plotts worked better for me.
