Re: graining started colts
I think it depends, if a guy is only puting an hour or so a day in a round pen or arena I say no way. But if a your riding long circles on them and useing them hard then maybe.
I think alot depends on the colt. I dont usualy grain any of my horses unless they need it, and never as a reward.

Re: insecticide ear tags
The ticks are starting to come out around here, and I noticed my border collie had a bunch
on him. So picked some up. I can't remember the name but they are the bright orange y-tex
insecticide tags. Good luck so far with ticks. But only had them on for about a week.
They do look kind of funny with ...

Re: Garmin Owners! Please Read!!!
Ive got an old johnson merlin and a garmin. I mainly just use my garmin. its also kinda
nice because you can tell what theyre running alot of times by the track on the hand
held, since i have one dog thats kind of trashy
But i mostly hunt coon so they dont get out of range most of the time.

You guys are probaly right about breeding, problem is im not sure what her breeding is
and even if I did I wouldnt know what to make of it. The guy I got her from said she
was pretty well bred, but you know how that goes. but I figure Ill give her a fair
chance and see how it goes
