I had some stephens that were fast, gritty, bayed great, treed great, and were calm natured around other dogs. I bear hunt in Tn and I see a lot of people bear hunt with cur's one week and than hog hunt with them the next...

I do not recommend putting a dog collar on the coon unless your fingers are made of metal...
