I do the same as above but I have gotten lazy in my old age and now I add some liquid smoke to my brine and use my dehydrator. Hard to keep any around as they clean it up faster than I can make it.

Never tought about trying it on grouse and our season just ended, usually just fry them up but doing it in the oven with good beer would even be better.

I do a refrigerator stew with my leftover chicken and gravy the next day and add anything I have in the fridge to it and the boys love it. Helps ...

Hello from "A" Canadian

:D Hello I am situated south of Ottawa Ont on the St lawrence river. I run blue ticks on coon and yote.
I hunt almost anything that can be hunted and love to take people out hunting with kids being on the top of the list.
My door is always open to all.
