Re: Obedence

Just a thought for everyone. I've been working with local K9 officers with their dogs, something I realized from us as houndmen and everyone else in dog training. Re: Heads up/track drifting blueticks

Shag, the last thing you said about dogs getting dubbed. Is very true, drifting is moving good, not swinging, and opening on what I call the high notes of the track and shifts gears everything they can as the progress the is what catches game.

Not contesting anyone. But your conditions are way more relevant than time. Good to great conditions 24 hours plus, poor-better be darn quick.

Re: EAR PROBLEMS

Had quite a bit of experience in this with one of my main dogs. Get some some otomax or animax ointment. Clean ears first like your doing . dry well, put 3-5 drops in should do it. If it comes back in 6-12 months like mine usually did, you'll have too change feed.

Re: What happened to the walker dogs???

Whats wrong with most today is they got away from what made them good/great! Goes for strains and breeds. Like Al said there are guys still doing it today. And can't type enough to improve on what Mike stated.
