Re: Airedale terriers

I only hunt mine on small game. From what I've read they have medium noses and are gritty with big game. Don't hunt with more than three or they could get suicidal gritty on big game. check out traditionalairedale.proboards.com. Couple guys on there hunt big game with their 'dales and have good ...

Re: Drahthaar or Airdale

For Airedales the breeder is everything. If I were you I would join the traditionalairedale.proboards.com website. They have a wealth of information including a breeder's network throughout the US. They can definately answer any questions you have and point you in the direction of a breeder close to ...

Re: Drahthaar or Airdale

Never had any exeprience with a drathaar. I've only seen them and they are cool looking dogs. I have an airedale and I hunt pheasant with her. She also blood trails deer for me. She has the run of the property and has killed many vermin but has never crunched a pheasant. I would coon hunt her but ...

Re: Jagds Patterdales terriers and the like

This is rose, my Airedale. Her training has been coming along very well. She has her obiediance down pat. Everytime we hit the woods her nose is to the ground right away. Was with her the other day and she treed a squirrel for me. It wasn't like she was blowing the top off of the tree but she was ...

Re: Jagds Patterdales terriers and the like

I have an Airedale from proven hunting lines. I'm going to primarily hunt her on pheasant and grouse. But we will probably be chasing around some squirrels and coons. Her training is coming along pretty well and she's extremely intelligent. As she gets older it seems like she's becoming more and ...

Re: plott+pitbull?

Herc they are right. Show bred airedales can handle themselves against pits and those are puss's compared to the working kind. Heres the URL for proof http://traditionalairedale.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=2226&page=1

But i got done reading a book labeled "Crossing ...
