i have used ZEV. it is a cough syrup for horses. You buy it in a gallon jug. made by buckley's. you should be able to get it at any farm feed store.

Barley straw is the bad one to use. That is the one that can give the open sore's in the dogs mouth. The straw almost act's like a quill. You are taking a chance of this happening. It usually happens if the dog takes food in the dog house with him and eats it in there picking up the straw. JMO.

Its the one that gets the job done. Dont worry about color and breed. I use it and works the best. Hardly ever have to break dogs. They get this as soon as they are old enough to be hooked up to the chain.

I was there. We drove 17 hrs from Ontario Canada to go and was not disappointed. This was my first time. I will be putting this on my yearly calender. Met a lot of new friends. It was great meeting and talking to you and your wife Jason. Maybe we will get to hunt together sometime.
