Buckets worked too. Crows are some bait because I hadn't put lids on them.

I also drilled holes in an old wooden bee box - worked great.

I am going to try 5 gal buckets with lids on and holes drilled. Find them on the side of the road all the time.

Re: Arizona coon hunters
The Gila by me is pretty rough. No roads. Thick mesquite, catclaw, and brush make getting to the dogs tough. Scarce coon and ample skunks proved mighty tempting to my young dogs. Not sure what it looks like out west.
With that said where there is water you may find coons. Are you seeing sign ...

First AZ Morning Coon
Dogs got it done this weekend. Worked out great as they treed some just after daylight. My young dog Khloe really got fired up seeing them better. First time we could get any pictures that were worth a damn. Treed some at night but it's more fun when I can see!!!

Re: oregon state police
Hunting Feral Swine at night? Since when are Feral animals property of the state? Tired of hearing all the BS about Billions in crop damage and then they are gonna take a guys hunting rights away for hunting the bastards? No season, limit or license should be applied to feral pigs. None in AZ but we ...

Re: Coon Tracks?
Still finding tracks but not treeing coons. How old a track will your dogs mess with? Found these at about 9am and the dogs trailed it in dry powdery dirt for almost a mile. Never opened though. When we hit the gravel road the tracks were no longer visible and the dogs seemed to lose it. Nothing ...

Thanks - all the books and online resources have them looking a bit different. I appreciate the help putting my second guessing to rest. Now I just need to get one in a tree.

Track ID
Need some help here as I am new to the game. Found these tracks along a creek in North Central Arizona. I initially thought coon but have doubts after looking at tracks online. The 5 toes match up but they look too short and round. Put this in the coon section first and with 90 views and no replies ...
