Which animal to harvest

Sorry for all the threads about similar subjects but i want to make sure I am starting off on the right foot!

So how do you field judge or determine what animal to take? I understand each person has there criteria for what they want. Personally I wouldn't ever shoot a sow that had cubs legal or not ...

Photo or shot?

On my thread about gun/caliber and else where as I have been reading, say they only take pictures. I am still "young" and inexperienced as a hunter of all kinds of animals not just those pursued with hounds.

For me the game is still about bagging game after good dog work. Is there a type of genesis ...

I got an 07 4door colorado (hunting and family rig). Does pretty well on fuel mileage. Haven't really tested it in ruff terrain yet! Its not fancy but has done the job so far

Only thing I don't like is the bed fills up quickly with all the hunting/dog stuff...hmm maybe I have too much stuff!

Don't they usually use dogs, rubber bullets and noise makers when they release bears to instill the fear of man??

Running Different Hounds Together

Is there any combination of hounds to stay away from or can you run pretty much any type of hound with another? Are there personality conflicts or speed differences that would keep any type of hounds from running together?

Well I have a source that will hook me up whenever i say I'm ready. He apparently has some really nice redbones. I wanted to find out if there were some things i needed before I start with the dogs so I am not left with my tail between my legs if you know what I mean.

Already had the tracker on the ...

Gear List

This may seem like another dumb question. I have a couple footlockers full of stuff (and then some) to train and run my bird dog. What kind of stuff do you need to train andrun coon hounds or big game hounds? Is there some can't do without items, stuff that I might not normally think about ...

Getting Started

If there are no lions, bears, or bobcats in my area, how do you train dogs to pursue those animals? I live in Ohio and there are obviously no Lions and not that many bears and bobcats.

But I definitly want to not only coon hunt with dogs but go and pursue atleast bears and hopefully lions and ...
