FREE hunting pups mid august
I will have some awesome hunting pups ready to go mid august. The mom of the litter is out of Utah and comes from some great bear and lion stalk. She is mixed with catahoula, bluetick, walker and plott. The male is my number one dog and has sired a lot of pups. He is full black n tan. His papers are ...

Re: Cameron hounds
Since you live close to Del, why don't you ask him if what I am saying about that female is true? The four Cameron's you bought, who did you buy them from?
You are right, buying a hound from anyone is a risk and some times things just do not work out and that's part of having hounds.

Re: Cameron hounds
I have owned 4 dogs that were either full Cameron or half. The most money I spent on one was 63 bucks. The others were either free or around 50 bucks. Like I said before, spending 800 bucks on a pup that might be complete shit is ridiculous. Hell you can go buy a proven 1 year old for around the ...

Re: Cameron hounds
You can find just as good of dogs or better for a fraction of the price from guys that hunt their stock. Del's dogs are only breeding dogs not hunting dogs. When's the last time Del has hunted any of his hounds? Not trying to knock Del, I think his blood lines are fine. But from my experience the ...

Re: Cameron hounds
Don't waste your money. Put 700 bucks back in your pocket and buy a 100 dollar hound. It will be just as productive and you will be able to buy food.

Re: First time for everything!
Great work! I am impressed 16 years old and you have the drive to be a houndsmen. I agree your weight on these lions may be off a little but hell we can all tell stories. Don't take it personal that these other guys are giving you a hard time. My first lion was a female. Females need harvested in ...

Re: How many dogs needed to hunt lions
I would start out with 2 pups and work with them non stop. Running one dog on lions is stupid and your gonna get your dog killed. I have had lions kill and eat my dog when they run single. If you don't have the time to train both at the same time then get one pup going til its about 6 months old ...
