Johnadamhunter, Plenty of people on the West coast are collecting. These are gonna be the serious guys for the most part. And there not gonna do much talk about it cause there keeping it for themselves or in a very close group. Not sure why everyone chooses to go to the old stuff. If everything is b...

Leapordcur1, You a funny guy and still probably a Virgin, it will happen someday. In the meantime keep the lube companies in ...

Re: Question for experienced bobcat hunters
If its luck a person is getting a good locate dog then maybe a person should look somewhere else for dogs. A dog can smell a old track 100 yards above and below a road so why wouldn't they be able to smell a hot one sitting in a tree?

Re: Question for experienced bobcat hunters
Oneguy828, No doubt more game more tracks more caught game more trees equals better chances a dog will perform potentially on a faster note. But it seems like some crosses just start treeing later 2 years old. But no matter how much game you tree or how little game you tree it seems the mental switc...

Re: Treed
Well think of how much fun you and your dogs and your young up and coming pup had with that cat, I'm sure you want more days like that. Best just leave it in the tree. Good luck

Re: Treed
I personally don't say a word to the dogs till the Critter is found. If I never find the critter after how ever long I am there for I just call the dogs and walk back. If I do see it I love them up and let them tree then walk away leaving it in the tree. Good luck...

Re: Starting a 13 week old Pup
Start on the real thing, no need to play with a barn cat. Just keep walking tracks out and help it as much as you can when its needed. Obviously more tracks are better but that amount will give yuh a head start. Just have fun. Good luck hope you keep us informed

Re: Az High desert
Rossco, I understand all that it's just when people talk about how them SW dogs are so cold nosed there really not any colder then the next cat dog in the next state and so on. But even the case of they were so much colder nosed they should still be able to take a colder track here in the north west...

Re: Az High desert
Pegleg, What we were getting at whether lion or Bobcat why can't them dry ground Desert dogs come to the easy NW and out trail our Hot Nosed dogs. Either trailing Bobcat or Lion. I understand some of them Lion dogs just don't have what it takes to become Bobcat dogs some I sure would have made decen...

Re: Az High desert
Idcurs, I said I would assume people could get it done in that country. Never once said or assumed you thought you had the best dogs around, most people with good dogs don't jump on the internet and insult a bunch of guys by saying there stuff is easy and they don't know what's tough. So I doubt I'l...
