It's time to order a new coon light and hunting boots. What is the best that you have found? I am thinking about upgrading to a led light but want to hear some options first
Thanks

John Ray bread blue tics
Hey I am looking for a couple blue tick hound puppies and I have heard nothing but good things about John Ray bread pups. Who do I need to talk to about getting some of this line? Thanks for any help

Re: Cur for bear
There are better curs for running big game imo. I have had BMC and I hunt with a few that parnters have. Real good hog dogs, silent to semi silent on track but I just feel like especially for bear you want at least a semi open to fully open dog. But if you are stuck on yellow cur dogs I would look ...

Re: Cur for bear
Look up Boar Runner ( Bob Fogel) on this site. He can tell you all you want to know about BMC. The phone number on his profile is no longer in service. PM him on here or look him up on Facebook. I don't give out others numbers.
Thanks for the info I will look him up

Re: Cur for bear
A guy that lives down the road from me has some BMC. He hunts them on bear, lion, and coon. He catches alot of game with them. They tree pretty good but they don't make a sound on track. I guess with today's GPS you can keep track of your dogs without hearing them but I still enjoy hearing a good ...

Re: Question for the Eastern Carolina guys
When I go in the bear woods I carry one of three guns. My 3 choices are my 3030, 4570 or a shotgun loaded with slugs. I have killed them big and small with all 3 of those guns.

Re: Bear hunting with a 3030
I just picked up a box of Winchester power max bonded bullets in 170 grain. I am going to shoot them some and go from there. Thanks for the advice I am going to look for the other recommendations as well and see what the gun shoots the best

I am looking around at different bloodlines and i want a hound that will stay with a mean bear but be smart enough to know how to fight one as a team and not go head on with it. Any ...
